Serve with STEPdc
STEPdc PALS program. Do you love children and desire to serve God and others? RUF is partnering with STEPdc to serve elementary school children in DC one saturday each month. We will be taking students on a fun outing to some spot in DC each week for the purpose of encouragement and friendship. We will be doing this in partnership with Atonement ARP church.
February 21st is our skate outing at the Sculpture Gardens on the mall.
STEPdc Scholars Tutoring - another way to serve is to help tutor an elementary student as they prepare for the national tests in April. Each Saturday morning STEPdc hosts a tutoring time at the Bruce Monroe Elementar school in DC (near Petworth Metro stop).
Please contact Kathryn Drumwright at kdrumwright@ruf.org if you are interested in assisting with either program. All volunteers must be approved by RUF staff and fill out paper work for STEP DC.
